Really great freeware softeware for old British Aircraft

http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/default.htm

On this site you will find great freeware software for the Trident, Comet, 1-11 and Vickers VC10.

I have only downloaded the 1-11 (this far) and it is great, the developers could nearly charge for it, so, if the others are as good as it, you will be getting some classics for nothing.

Certainly worth a look anyway.

Boeing, get the trident, it is really, really worth it, a fantastic plane. Have you seen rick pipers work, google his name and his site should come up, some more examples of classic British planes such as the chipmunk and the argosy (Fantastic!!)

I hace seen his work, and it is beaser! I have downloaded a lot of his stuff, and I will be downloading a lot more.

The VC-10 on that site was great, the Trident was really, really good, but I think the BAC 1-11 is his best so far. The VC is amazing, so detailed, so accurate, and you can actually fly from it as it has no noticable effects on frame rates at all!

Until yesterday for me, one my favourite aircraft of all time was banned from flying in the western world, but his BAC 1-11 has changed all that - through that freeware download, he has immortalized that aircraft!

If I paid 25 for that in a shop, I would feel I got my money's worth.

Just hit

http://www.cbfsim.co.uk

it links to DM's, Rick Piper's, Dave Garwood's, and a number of other sites, as well as the 'classic british FS' forum.
