Aviation Timepiece

Hello my name is Alldaron, I am president of Debaufre, a family-owned U.S.-based Swiss watch company.

My intention of posting here is to introduce our watches and gather input for the design of the ultimate pilot timepiece (functions, style, size, color, etc).

For over two years, we have been endorsed by Dale 'Snort' Snodgrass, legendary F-14 Top Gun pilot, who still flies exhibition air-shows. He has worn Debaufre in most of his daily endeavors.

I was in Saint Augustine, FL on Saturday (Feb 6th 2010) for a photo shoot with Dale. When I arrived at the private airfield, Dale took me along for a 45 minute flight in one of his air-show military jets; this was my first time soaring the skies at 300 knots (which per my calculation is 345 mph) doing barrel-rolls and 360-loops. What an experience!

Before the flight, I showed Dale our new Aero Gent timepiece; he was so amazed with the classic and subtle styling that he wore it throughout the entire day, including the flight. Dale stated, "The Aero Gent is an incredibly attractive watch and exactly what I would expect in an Officer's timepiece."

Once we settled firmly back on the ground, and I was able to function properly again, we prepared for the photo shoot, which went very well.

In the next few days we will be posting some of the shots taken during the flight as well as from our photo shoot on our website. We'd like to graciously thank Dale Snodgrass for his continued support of Debaufre. And we'd like to invite you to review the Aero Gent and provide us with some actual wrist-tested testimonials.

Enjoy your week and best wishes,
Alldaron
