Air Facts article RE: 707 in early jet age

I found this really interesting article from Air Facts about flying the 707 at the dawn of the jet age. I've never flown a jet, so I don't know, but I imagine the workload has been streamlined quite a bit these days.

It's especially interesting to read about the passenger experience back then. Full meals? Comfy seats? The times they have a-changed...

Thoughts?

Oh those early jet operations threw schedules into havoc. Just watch the movie Boeing Boeing with Tony Curtis & Jerry Lewis to see the carnage....

I remember flying to Florida with my parents on board a 707 in the early 70's. All I remember is a giant steak dinner that also featured some portobello mushrooms, and being invited up to the cockpit to get my pilot's wings. Yes, times they have changed!
